About me

Welcome to my site!

My name is Ida-Helene Sivertsen and I am 19 years old. I am from a little town called Narvik which is about 220km's above the arctic circle. The nature and the sorrundings in this part of Norway is just beautiful. I am a self-made photographer and I bought my first camera when I was 15 years old. For my photography I use a Nikon D3200 and some different lenses. My lenses: Nikkor 18-105mm, Sigma 50mm F2.8 and my favourite Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 as well as my Sigma APO Tele converter 2x.

Photographing is a big part of me, and I really love to photograph animals in their natural habitat. Since I live in Northern Norway I am also so lucky to get the chance to photograph the northern light "Aurora Borealis" just outside my house. The nature here is fjords surrounded by big mountains.

Dogs and horses are basically my life, and my favourite to photograph. They are so different, but yet so similar. I put a lot of passion into my photography, as well as I try to get feelings out of my photos. Luckily - with animals, there are always so much expressions and emotions going around.
